Kids need to run and play but in Minnesota the weather doesn’t always allow us to send them outside to burn off that energy. We’ve gathered some of the best indoor playgrounds and activities for Littles, Middles and Teens.


  • Pinwheel Play – Chanhassen MN | Pinwheel Play is a unique and modern indoor play park for kiddos 0-6. Art activities, play park, and play-based learning activities.
  • Pavillion Turf Tots – Hopkins MN |Turf Tots is a drop-in play program for children 5 and under. Kids can run and play with equipment provided by the Hopkins Pavilion including bounce houses, climbing wall, sports balls, crawl tunnels, blocks, trikes and more! Beginning in March Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. $5 per child.
  • Shakopee Indoor Aquatic Center – Shakopee MN | Infants and toddlers can play in the zero-entry pool before the center opens to the public. 9:30 a.m.-Noon Mondays and Wednesdays; 9:30-11:30 a.m. Sundays. Ages 0-6 $5 per child.
  • IGM Gymnastics – Burnsville |Every Friday little ones Ages 1 – 6 from can enjoy open gym time 9:30 am – 11:30 am. $8 per child.


  • Millz House – Apple Valley | Geared for kids 10 and under with swing sets for the children to play on, Vuly trampolines to jump on, and SnapSports athletic flooring and basketball courts to shoot some hoops!
  • Good Times Park – Eagan |This indoor play area has a basketball court, jumping area, indoor field, and an imagination and building area.
  • Brookview Backyard – Golden Valley |Kids will love exploring the slides, cargo climbs, and interconnecting tunnels for hours.
  • IGM Gymnastics – Burnsville |Every Friday kids Ages 5 and up can enjoy open gym from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Enrolled family: $8/child
    Non-enrolled family: $10/child $8 per child.


  • Glow in One Mini Golf – Burnsville| Glow In One Mini Golf is an indoor 18 hole blacklight mini-golf course designed for all ages.
  • Urban Air Adventure Park – Coon Rapids | More than just a trampoline park, it also has a Warrior Obstacle Course, Slam Dunk Zone, Dodge Ball, Sky Rider Coaster, ropes course, climbing walls and MORE!
  • Lifetime Sport – Eden Prairie | With 30+ hours of open play each week, you can show up and play on your schedule. Both day passes and monthly membership options are available. (Lifetime Gym Membership not required)
  • Grand Slam – Burnsville | Tons of fun including laser tag, an indoor trampoline room, mini golf, batting cages, bumper cars, video arcade, and three-story play area.
