Get out and celebrate our Earth at one of the Twin Cities many special events!

Earth Day 2019 Events

Earth Month Craft – March 31 (Mall of America) Bloomington MN

Kids will learn how to reduce, reuse, and recycle, creating their own special crown out of discarded materials.

Plus, if you bring in a well-loved toy for donation, you’ll receive a $10 gift card to shop Rose & Rex’s imaginative toys. Donations will go to Second Chance Toys, a non-profit that keeps plastic toys out of landfills by refurbishing them for children in need.

This event is free and open to all ages!

Hatch Day/Earth Day (National Eagle Center), Wabasha MN

Eagles in our area typically hatch around the third week of April. Since we’re not sure exactly when our eagle ambassadors hatched, we use April 22nd, or Earth Day, as our eagles’ hatch day. On that day, they each get a year older and we celebrate with special enrichment activities.
